Well what a Weekend it was! We were very busy!
On Saturday we made a "trip" to downtown Annandale where there was an easter egg hunt. Jackson was in the first age group 0-3 years old. It was a very very hilerous event! There was candy all over and eggs and lots and lots of kids. When the horn went off Jackson just stood there and watched all the other kids! The Golden Egg(the best prize you can get) was in the center by a tree and once a little girl got it, a bunch of other kids started to cry! So mostly there was lots of crying, and no laughing and fun. I am sure the other age groups had more fun. But it was sure a good laugh. Because Jackson didn't move, Grandma Hegle went out with him and got some candy. Than we made our way to the big truck to pick up an Easter balloon and a bag of candy.
Than next we went to the Holiday Inn in St. Cloud to spend the night for Kristin's birthday. It was lots of fun. Jackson did care much for the swimming, but he ran and ran and ran around all night long until bedtime. It sure wasn't much fun for us chasing him around to make sure he was okay. Auntie Kristin brought him to get his face painted with the MN Twins logo. Going to bed was also an adventure because Lilly and Jackson had to go to sleep in the same room. They pretty much cried and cried for about 20 minutes straight. One would stop, and the other would start. It was kind of sad.
Than we woke up in the morning to go to church for Easter Sunday and Landon's baptism. Landon did great, he didn't even cry. Than we went to The Hegle's for another easter egg hunt and lunch, which was very good. Next we had to hurry off to Robbinsdale for easter lunch with the Baker side(Loren's dads side) It was nice catching up with people and Grandma Florence worked really hard cooking, and preparing easter baskets. Than cousin Jordyn and Jackson got to do another easter egg hunt, which apparently Jackson was getting the hang of, because he did much better. And that completed our crazy, busy, but also fun weekend.
I hope everyone had a great Holiday Weekend. I am so glad Spring seems to be here FINALLY and now look forward to another busy summer. Aren't they all busy!? Jackson had his 18 Month Check up today and he only had to have one shot.. he is good now until kindergarten! Yippee! Also he is now on the chart for height.. before he wasn't even on the percentile chart so that is a BIG plus! :)
